Legendary has created one peaceful country managed by Hung Kings who founded and reserved the spiritual area – Vietnam. It has been settled up as a “home” by Father – Lac Long Quan and Mother – Au Co. Generation to generation, this legend has been respected as the ancestors and origin of the country. Today, Vietnamese has annually organized an anniversary of Hung Kings on the 10th of the third lunar month. The Hung King festival has also become a National holiday of Vietnamese. On this special anniversary, the solemn festivities are celebrated all over Vietnam. The worshiping is organized at any Hung King temples with plenty of participants who are local governors, local leaders, military forces, religious representatives, the intelligentsia, students, workers or any festivity lovers. The offerings offered to Hung Kings are foods, flowers, incenses and “Banh Chung and Banh Day” symbolized as Heaven and Earth. After the worshiping celebration, the festival is continued with variety activities such as dragon, lion dance, muscle arts performance, traditional games or any camping activities. It has been a worthy value of spiritual life for Vietnamese.
