The race commenced with each round featuring two pairs of cows. In the initial round, winners were selected to advance to the next lap. The competition unfolded with a specific rule: one pair of cows positioned themselves in front of the other at the starting point. The contest comprised two laps where the objective was to outmaneuver the opposing pair.
As the referee signaled the start, the initial 1.5 laps saw the controllers of both pairs, positioned on harrows, strategically navigating the field akin to ploughing a paddy. Their task was to maintain proximity without overtaking. Crucially, the trailing pair was prohibited from making contact with the harrow of the leading pair; any such contact resulted in immediate disqualification. This phase of the race showcased the skillful art of cow control. Should a pair venture beyond the designated racing fields, they faced instant elimination.

The defining moment occurred as the trailing pair endeavored to catch up and touch the harrow of the leading pair. Success in this maneuver crowned them the winner; failure meant victory for the front-running pair.
Following the intense rounds, the semi-final and final showcased the pinnacle of professional skills. The triumphant team emerged as a source of pride for the farmers, promising productivity in the imminent crop year. The cow racing competition, steeped in tradition and skill, provided a platform for farmers to exhibit their prowess and set the stage for a successful agricultural season ahead.
